On Thursday 20th October 2016, a UECBV delegation led by UECBV President Philippe Borremans met with EU Commissioner V. Andriukaitis in charge of health and food safety.

The meeting was fruitful and promising.

The UECBV delegation raised four issues i.e.:

1/ Compulsory Country Of Origin Label (COOL) for meat as ingredient

2/ Russia

3/ ASF

4/ Abandoned horses
